CARE Stands For

Collaborative Approach To Promote Resiliency & Empowerment

About

ABOUT

My name is Danielle Snyder and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of CARE Counseling, LLC. Taking the first step in identifying ways in which you would like to feel differently or aspects of behavior you'd like to change can be difficult. As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, I have found that one of the most important components of the therapeutic relationship is creating a nonjudgmental, safe environment that allows for growth and healing to transpire.  My therapeutic approach is centered on empathy, trust, and collaboration. I firmly believe that each individual's journey toward healing is unique, which is why I tailor treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client. We are a team that will work together in overcoming challenges you are experiencing and work towards changes you would like to make.

SERVICES

Individual Trauma-Informed Therapy

With each client, I utilize a holistic approach, focusing on your specific needs, and helping to empower and support you while you gain a sense of awareness and insight. I am trained in EMDR therapy and integrate this into treatment for adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, and substance abuse.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation

As a Virginia board approved LPC supervisor, I provide supervision to professionals pursuing their LPC licensure. I offer both in person and virtual meetings.
